Forbidden nights full of secret affairs
Lonely days to follow, full of despair
The thought having no one to love would bring a tear
Who would have known soon after you would be here

Crystal images of my haunting past
In your life will forever last
Before your life would ever begin
I was cursed with the desire to sin

Oh sweet child, how could it be
That you have become a mirror vision of me
Clear as the water are you eyes of blue
Clouded with lies you try to see through

But the gift of rumor will never let you be
And now you are the mother to be
Whatever she does and whatever you do
Try to keep her from becoming a mirror vision of you

This was written from my mother's point of view who grew to become her mother and sorrowfully watched me become her.  May daughter be spared through my salvation.
