Summoning The Will
By: Noah Eaton
10/16/04

Up, up the long, delirious burning blue,
feathers of heaven raise us like the birds,
posterity laughs at us,
but providence trains us to stare upward,
it's not the flowing red cape,
nor the cardboard grocery carton pirate ships,
that instruct us in learning to fly,
it's the ability to retain that innocence...

"So many of our dreams first seem impossible,
then they seem improbable.",
but when we take the time,
summoning the will,
swimming out to the ocean,
"they soon become inevitable"

And now, forward!
And now, forward!

It's the thousand years of experience,
dreaming of angels that send us on our way,
It's the tree you gaze upon,
once you see its shadow from the sky,
It's the hand you're dealt you play,
that makes this whole game worthwhile.
It's the activist irregular verb of love,
that generates the velocity in our blood...

"So many of our dreams first seem impossible,
then they seem improbable.",
but when we take the time,
summoning the will,
swimming out to the ocean,
"they soon become inevitable"

Flying a kite,
is the beginning of an odyssey to touch God's hand,
there you have been,
and there you will always long to return,
it is not the X-ray vision,
that helps us see beyond our limitations,
your soul's found a place in the sky,
in your lungs you feel the wind,
you're tasting flight...

"So many of our dreams first seem impossible,
then they seem improbable.",
but when we take the time,
summoning the will,
swimming out to the ocean,
"they soon become inevitable"

"If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other"

Mother Teresa

Wonderful tribute Noah.
I was shocked to hear of Dana's passing.
Superman and his lady fair are together once again.
hugs, Chris

There was such courage and beauty in their spirits. I admired them both beyond words.

They were fine examples of humanity at its best.

Noah, I commend you on this fine use of your gift for writing.

Love & Eternal Light,
Linda

Beautiful poem... beautiful pictures.
Thank you for celebrating two wonderful
lives Noah. They taught us much...
if we were watching.

Thank you Noah, for this. I wanted to write something, but my muse refuses to cooperate today. I just don't want to believe this horrid news.

What a beautiful tribute to Chris, Dana and their son. Yes, they are together once again, holding and loving each moment again. They truly were a lovely couple..so much dedication to each other. Dana will truly be missed...we are not suppose to ask why. But why...does GOD always pick the best that are doing HIS work here on HIS Earth? Only HE knows...and it shall remainalways the same!

Noah Angel, I truly do believe you are an angel...it is very difficult to come up with any other explanation for the infinite wisdom and love you display in your writing.   ....jo

Incredibly beautiful. You have a gift, and you share it. One cannot ask more.
