my mind bends the abandon
by the dragon's sleep of bandon
where face rock looks for a daughter's god
and the footprints in sand of man
are saliva soothed salty smooth
for some dawn skin's eyes to follow

hollow like old joe’s  java bowl
and viking wine from gretel’s kettle
the stumble dance of these new boots
with cross eyed foot correction
twenty-twenty is still fortyish
except on mornings like today

when another dime of time
is a new coat of slumber sand
in too deep pockets
but at least the wrinkles don't show
when the skin is heavy
and the windows have dirty faces

there is a house on the cliff there
it used to be my grave before
being resurrected by the second coming
of a highway headed south mostly
and the salvation of vibration
where the metal tattoo'd the pain

of my new best friend with numbness

I think we have these codes and arrangements in our very own rooms...and you sir, seam the matters into a realistic contemporary of human heart and thoughts...well done!

On the wind, echoes....

Stranger, in the rays of dawn
where rock 'neath heaven looks upon
the dancing waves which crest
        ~ then gone ~
with not one crease to seam or trace
eternity on her timeless face.
She willingly accepts the fates--
with faithful heart, lies and waits.

This one hit me Dark.

with cross eyed foot correction

It reminds me of when I was a kid and my crooked feet with those awful corrective shoes, lol. Your imagery is on the money as always. Great   - Ed

Ah yes, the warm enclave of Burndown....it's such a pretty place, I hope they can keep it standing for a while this time!

We used to take our doon buggy down there and tear up sand.  I love that place, the Sealions Caves, the wildness of the waves on the rocks in September, the huge redwoods.  Yes it's time to head down to Coos Bay again, I loved this!
