Words march across pixels building a median, painting the center line of your face a million colors, incognito. Hand-to-hand, in the eye of the matrix, we rap to keys and code, sing of marshmallows and mayhem, dance to the rush of an emerald river. Envy divines the depths, tracing my face in the current. On the surface, dragon scales ripple and shimmer in the light, quiet. A sword of fire throws a golden beam, bronzing the quest of a man unseen. Enchantress, as always, you make me smile. This poem was the result of a conversation with lordmadrox, a very talented young dragon slayer whom I have never met, who did indeed spark my poetic imagination.
