Between the Lines

Power Struggles

Chose to stay the day
wishing for it to last a bit
breaking the work
to do nothing,
wanting to eat the loneliness
until digesting its encounter.

Ping-ponging the head messages
flirting with heart strides
trying to equalize
the thoughts of you
and take responsibility
for today's laziness.

Shoulders
carrying the unnecessary stress made
in doing so, reaching for an advocate
to wake up those emotions
of purpose.

Wanting restfulness but
loving to be challenged...
I feel the in between today.

reminding me of how we sometimes overthing and analyze situations working ourselves into a tizzy. Made me feel like I'm getting a headache...very well done!
