There comes a time Dawne in your life You’ve got to make change, do what’s right You’ll learn to trust someone with all your might You’ve gotta believe it’s me Dawne Just trust and I’ll show you what I could feel for you, just trust in me And you will see You take my hand and I’ll adore you Till the end of forever Dawne Trust in me and I could be the one Who loves you till eternity is gone The first time that I saw your face my heart had Been searching empty places, dead end roads Then I felt your sweet warm embrace Now my heart races and mind overloads Can I tell you what I see for tomorrow If we continue on this road today We could be heading towards our deepest friendship Can you tell me that you wouldn’t want it that way I opened my eyes and there you were Dawne You could be so much more than a dream So I write this to you girl as my heart pounds In hope you see I am true, may my words redeem The words I wrote can’t be explained But they came from me and how I feel I sit here dismayed, worried and confused Dawne can you trust, can you see me as real I hope you can believe in me now Dawne But if you decide to walk on by I may be sad, realize what could have been But I’ll understand your reasons why |
