A stone, on the floor of the  temple.
Was discontent with the way things were done .
Great respect was shown to the statue that stood.
But, the stone on the floor received none.
"They honor you", he said to the statue.
"They bring you flowers...you are praised and   adored".
"But, all they do is walk upon me".
"You are worshiped, while I am ignored".

"We started out the same", said the statue.
I was once the same as you.
We were One stone, and from this One.
The artist made us two.
You were the first to be focused upon.
With vision, his hammer he would wield.
But, his image of you would not come forth.
You always refused to yield.
With the slightest tap you would cry out , OUCH !!!!
No matter where the chisel would lay.
"How dare you hit and harm me !"
" Leave me be ",  you'd always say.
While I, would wait and wonder.
At the meaning behind each blow.
Patiently looking toward the day.
When the meaning of it would show.
And, as I endured each blow, each cut.
Unwanted pieces fell away.
And, in this, lies all the difference.
Between what we are today.
The artist did not create me.
When all the unwanted parts were purged.
The beauty that had been within.
Simply took form and emerged.
And therein lies all the difference.
How we think and what we bear.
That is why I AM what I AM, here.
And you my friend, are there .

This is incredible in it's design.  Well thought out, inspired and raw!
The message came clear, resounding as the hammer to the stone.
Like your style very much.
Welcome to Passions.
