Justin,

We have stalled

we talk about being hurt,
the escaped dream
beautiful mischief of
those still moments

believe me, you never forget the ache

If you only knew

how the silence
attracts my heart toward you

because        I know

the stars are your friends
even in your            dark empty rooms
where walls of memories
embrace these Fall days

with melancholy, I have prayed
   bring back each memory,
those even to painful - - -
the vase has gathered
              petals around its basin
one for each tear

there are thousands

this, your voice of       psalms

this, my voice of         psalms

the hope that lives inside of me
enwraps our love
I have            never     forgotten
even when the nights have come and gone
in a trail of fire,

our fire

in each particle of sand & stone that bears
our name

it does exist

there are moments I too need to be away
from the furious crowds
to collapse all this dust that
surrounds our feet

I think experience is
sometimes all we have
in this maze of life

at the edge of wood I have learned

just this:

“you can see the forest through the trees”

I may rest between each moment

however,       I am not afraid

because I believe

In your beauty how to make poems
You dance inside my chest where

Lauren, I do hope that one day
Your Oz series...
becomes a keepsake
in thousands of hands...

these are so very beautiful,
and the songs are right there
With the Songs of Solomon...

Greeneyes,

You are truly unique. Your series is beautiful. Mystical in it's own way your writing captures the butterfly in it's moment of suspended glory.

Hugs & Luv ya, Nancy

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.

You really must get published, Lauren.
This is beyond what I could explain the exactly what stirs within my own heart.

and yes:

I think experience is
sometimes all we have
in this maze of life

lord have mercy girlie....
how amazingly lovely is that.

I'll bare the brunt of your long buried pain
I don't mind helping you out ...
But I want you to remember my name

Much to contemplate in it all... but this captured me instantly. &

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Experience and hope.     always the answer I think.

But, oh what a beautiful way to say it!

You know that moment that happens every so often, that when you see, read, or touch something it stirs inside of you a feeling there are no words to describe?

Well lady, sometimes your poetry does that to me (like seeing my granddaughter's smile you know the one right?) and I think, I sure hope she is keeping all these for her girls.

You put the beauty into every word, and give it true meaning m'friend.

If you bind all these I will buy it!

oh Lady...
dear sweet Lady Lauren
how on earth did this beauty slip by,
and I almost missed it...

I love your soul L~...
but you already know that,
my sister of heart.

yesterday is gone
tomorrow doesn't exist
