Searching for OZ Series
~~

Tonight he  is lost,
his shadow, his only companion
he shares  moonlight and thought  along the stretch
of dirt road

We move in different dimensions
under earth
coral on the wheel of time - -
the silence seeps through  windows
in shapes of broken sand

whenever I dream of first rain,
I think of September
and how we met greeting the dawn
with pure sky, pure love
always                        daring the moon
to pull the dark

the delicate trace
of silhouettes

whose hands have touched
the spell of smoke

and the hush, after the coming winter/s

I fear the silence of storms
when the door is never close enough
or                               the stillness of fires
to prove the sign of rainbows

now in mornings coming
I find your handprints
pressed to heart
every trace of salt
I have become

rising free

letting it   be            until our last dance

                                  knowing

we are almost home

In your light I learn how to love
In your beauty how to make poems
You dance inside my chest where
no one sees you and that sight becomes this art

I'll bare the brunt of your long buried pain
I don't mind helping you out ...
But I want you to remember my name

Lauren~What can I say that I have not said before?
Exquisite writing!

Love ya lady~

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

This is simply wonderful! I enjoyed this so very much.  Looking forward to more.
