Pontoons

The pontoons of our illusions
Are floating on a sea of grace
Depending on life’s contusions
Within our given time and space

We seem to set our sail on high
But all encounter storms at sea
We soon discover we can’t fly
And flounder in the all to be

We fantasize our nights away
Indulging in illusions awe
We phantomlike a better way
To have a half a chance at more

But stones are stones and bones are bones
And grime is grime and time is time
And thrones do not beyond these zones
For prime does not beyond this rhyme

Simply hello is now my goal
It is the doorway to my soul

this 1st paragraph speaks volumns

I'm happy, your happy, and in that
lives contentment...right on Mr. Poet in motion

Hello and good morning Sy!
Loved this morning's read!
Time for tea?  I'll pour.

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

Seymour~
So very often the gentle of your thoughts float into my morning ... carrying me to a wellspring of new 'ink-think'~

Thank you for this beauty~
