Coldness surrounds me
like a rainy night

It drips off my forehead
but doesn't get rid
of my fright

The wind how it whips
at my hair,my earings
fall to the ground
and piearce my bare foot

Clawing through the darkness
the branches snap the clouds
grow more angry and so do the
cats.

Stratching at my heart and
inflicting more pain the salt
in the wound burns so bad

As another new day comes
I wish it adue, I look
and think I made it
I got through.

Fool me once shame on you.....Fool me twice shame on me.....

A lot of us make it through the rain and no, we are never, ever the same

We made it through the rain

Good words
