I watch as time marks my days and I immerse myself in thoughts of the missing. I dismiss the clatter of life going by, my stillness leaving imprints for no one. Reality warps me, wraps its unevenness in stretched out words. I cast my own shadows watching the nights growing longer, resolving to dream of better days.
