Those Special Moments

My world came to an end
when you stopped loving me
You had become my whole life
nothing else mattered, you see

My heart I had given to you
almost from the first time we met
Those special moments with you
are times I can't seem to forget

Today, I sit here thinking of you
just like I have so many times before
Sometimes, I feel a tear in my eye
then other times, they start to pour

The pain has lessened with each day
It seems I feel so much more fury
then I ever thought I could feel
because of the things you took from me

Together, I thought we would be
until the world came to an end
just to find out, all of that time
your love was just pretend
