The Bells

I heard the seven bells of tell
They danced upon my spine a spell
Sound the chaos of their song
Made my feet to dance along

Visions ran the length of it
Hope rang out the strength of it
And I was slipped the needles eye
And brought into a nether sigh

So raged the winds of livings roar
I could not bring my mind to store
The Eden’s lace that since is grime
To give me grace, go back in time

I could not wrap its cloak my frame
Nor set aside the wrath of blame
Nor silence it the quell of tell
Nor stop my tingling spine as well

So here I stay in quandaries lies
And add my say the well of sighs

Sy, I was just reading a gnostic website last night called The Church of the Pearl.  When I read the lines above, I was immediately transported back to some things I read there.  My thinking, too.  Beautifully phrased, sir!   ......jo
