My honeymoon with Leah and Katrina

Last night I dreamed
that I went home
and everything was fine

the trees intact
the power on
the water flowed like wine

the streets were dry
the porch stood straight
just like a perfect line

but then I woke
and looked around
and heard those babies cry

I saw the crowds
standing in line
not one eye was dry

for no one knew
what fate had planned
for lovely new Orleans

we all pitched in
to keep it clean
our temporary home

no privacy
but thats okay
we made it out alive!

adagio(in exile)

Through your poem I got to experience an aspect of the Katrina aftermath from the inside out, instead of from the outside in.

Yours is definitely a honeymoon to remember! Hang in there! Take it nice and adagio!

May you and your new bride have a wonderful life together! You can only go up from here!

Here is a belated wedding present for you.

Present ~ and it is filled with everything that you may need and desire! Magic Wand

Now this will be a honeymoon to tell your children and grandchildren about!
Thank God you made it out safely.
Things can be replaced..
but people can't.

I wait now at the lake or walking by the bay
I wait and listen or put a seashell
to my ear and it all comes back
the wind's soft murmur..and you.
