Touch a Hand

Touch the hand of another man
And you touch the hand of God
For he’s a symbol of the plan
And was made from this very sod

We are the essence of the ground
It is upon this very stage
I would you have a look around
Where spawns the cook of symbols page

We seek we find we fall behind
It is a process full of awe
There never was a contract signed
We are the DNA of core

No chance in hell to stop the fan
Or peek ahead the final sod
But touch the hand another man
And you will touch the hand of God

So this is what I seek to do
Perhaps the hand I touch be you

oh Sy, your poetry sings out like a chorus of clear visions...I have to struggle sometime, to hold back tears of joy from your words...because of you, the darkness shifts into words saying
Hey, you have to wake up!

Morning Sy

Seymour, this is so true...and what
it's all about. I've never thought we could
live alone, but must live with and for our
fellow man....then God is pleased with us.
A good thought-provoking poem, Sir, and I love it.
Hugs,
Ethel

Well I hunted everywhere for this picture I had before and couldn't find it, darn it.  However, I hope the hand you touch is mine, as you certainly have done wonders by touching my mind and heart Sy.  We are indeed the DNA of core, and I sure as heck wish the world would realize that before my number is up!  Great job on this one, it was of course a keeper.
