DYING EMBERS
Within your arms you gave back a piece of my missing soul.
I never knew it was missing, until you made me feel whole.

I was gently lured into your depths, as the tide is lured by the sea.
As a fire raging out of control You ignited a flame within me.

As the mountains reach for the heavens So too, I reach for you.
As a volcano erupting it's larva, I'm flowing in my love for you.

This moment I am totally complete. Too soon you'll relinquish your hold.
Your moments with me will be forgotten, As your dying embers
will again turn cold.

* That which gives light, must endure burning *
