I wrote this for a friend I met through another site. She lives in England.

A Special Friend

Once in a while you meet someone
who brightens up your day
It is the simple things they do
that helps along the way

Your life may be filled with troubles
which keep you down alot
But, with a friendship, so dear
you know, you're not forgot

Thank you, my friend so far
for all the things you do
It helps more than you know
to have a friend like you
