Caught Afoul

I feel afoul, caught in let
In shadowed mist mosquito net
One I can’t dismiss with ease
One that weighs you down in tease

It forms a veil upon the sun
The weight of dew is still undone
And shadows lay in heavy stay
That stops the making of the day

And I am cold the lack of light
To bake my bones to make them right
To focus on the mornings awe
To let the light within the door

For I must lift my head like grass
I cannot breathe when shadows pass
I am a creature of the sun
Without it, I am undone

I’ll wait for it as best I can
For I am but a simple man

Me too dear Sy...me too!
Good morning and hope yours is as sunny
as the one up here in Ontario.
It's a glorious spring day..
one to smile about.
~Morning smiles, hugs & tea, Nancy~

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul

Let's burn that mist that holds the man
So that he may find his Neverland...

Sy

I am a creature of the sun too...and without it sometimes it is difficult to raise the morning.  It is bright here...I'll send you some by dove.

Hi, Sigh Guy!

Hmmm! I wonder what type of grass ye be referring to?!? lol

~ and BTW, this "angel" prefers a "simple" man over a complicated one!

At least you know what causes your malaise... and are willing to admit it. *S*

I like this very much, my friend... may your world soon be brightened!!
