A Picket Fence

For years I sat a picket fence
On why’s to me that made no sense
Reflecting thoughts of sin and crime
That held me in the flow of time

And in the rapids of each bend
I surely thought this is the end
But time has many twists and turns
Full of whirl pools spins and yearns

Its then I turned to mining skills
To mine the gold that sage did spill
To salve the heat of torments cry
To wash the sigh from out my I

But sage I found to be a stage
Of words that played upon a page
Each one a candle lit of light
To brighten up the dark of night

But night still holds obscurity
Unless night is eternity?

You wound this one round
back to the end's beginning, Sy...a
perfect circle of one's thought process
from the time that one can...

It's another

So...duly libraried, with lights!

Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen?  Keeping in mind, I must stand close...and keep my promises...

Sometimes it can feel like one. *S* Science has never explained how time doesn't move when we're miserable... and flies during moments of heaven! LOL

I like this so very much, my friend...

Oh my, it certainly does. I wonder if time ever notices how quickly it is moving?

Since you are the sage that displays your wisdom upon the page ... I know, that you know...your poetry IS your eternity.

*ww*

It's only words and words are all I have to take your heart away.
