I carried dreams and pinches of sand,
pulled forth my thoughts and let them fall...
tossed them away....out of my hand
Bouncing endlessly,  lover’s ball.

I carried choices and let you choose
I spoke of smiles and traced your lips
Decisions held but soon to lose,
Molded a murmur, softly grips.

I left a trail, covered by shells
Swells of blue, ribbons of gold
crunching softly, awaiting sails,.
Love of two....timid and bold.

Swell of grey, lashing a shore
whispering...now, dancing once more.

I left behind, tenderly there,
Dreams of the eve, born of the dawn...
tears of tomorrow, soft dampened hair.
Eyes of a doe, once born a fawn....

Barry,

So good to read you again, my patriot friend.  You are writing incredibly well.  I held onto every word.  It was a most beautiful poem.  You have such amazing talent.  I am glad to have shared in the reading of so many of your poems.  You hold the key to a vast vault of keeper poems.  This is yet another for the vault.  I applaud you always.

Always in awe,

Kevin

You have not lost your ability to touch my heart with your arrangement of mere words.

I have missed you, my friend.

"Swell of grey, lashing a shore

I imagine those words spoken softly and ever so close to the ear..
