somebody's dungeon

There is a fray
upon silken edge,
soft tears
making tassels
   of age.

Faded pink
roses blurred,
folding into each other
as it hangs,
luxuriates
upon the oak chair.

A memory,
draped across wood.
Upon touch
fingers slipping,
picture in mind,
another time
a dance
and love.

Again, thank you. You always make me feel welcome no matter how long I've been away.

I can picture your memory in my mind, for you impart those images with your graceful pen...

Hi, Rose of White! I have missed you!

Hello earthy angel

I've missed all of you. I've been busy. I have a new home. What fun I've had decorating. At last to be able to nest again. But in the midst of it all, I've missed my writing, my friends here, and the feeling of home this place always offered me. Thank you so much for reading.

Dear Dixie,

You are always so kind. I've been here, and there, chasing down my muse. It's nice to be back. What wonderful therapy it's been writing today.

Thank you for reading, and the warm sentiments.

Yes Sy, a whisper of past in the softness of silk. Thank you for your kind words.
