Thoughts pace as they may
on days such as this
when the mind is not focused
on one,     or the other
but rather on that
which lies       in between.
It's still amazing
how this,     pushes that
back into the corners of
remembrances
only to be called out
again at a later date
    and time
Perhaps on a day
of struggling
the buried treasure
will rise     to the top
bringing moments of peace;
bestowing rest upon a weary traveler
journeying through
the seasons     of life

ever changing...

Yesterday is gone
   tomorrow cannot be seen
and all that is left
is today,
and        some dreams...

       and nothing but time

to ask questions
     and find answers;
         to KNOW the truth
a voyage is made
while thoughts keep on turning   and burning
through corridors of the mind.

I'm not afraid to speak my heart
and bare my soul
I don't like lies,
I'd rather know the truth...what say you?  {Tritt/Mellencamp}

You just keep those thoughts coming lovely lady.
I happen to love the way you ramble!
Hugs~

Now while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again..and again.

Kari, it seems I am stuck in free verse land at the moment.  I like being there.
Thanks for listening again to my ramble of words..

Beautiful poetry Gentle Spirit!

And, those seasons of life are ever changing.
You cannot judge the future by the present,
but you can know what to expect by the past,
especially: from which direction a cold wind blows.

You have put my mind in a more peaceful state.
(ahhh... deep breath, release slowly)

This is a very gracefull way of looking at the madness that goes on in one's mind.

It puts things in order.

Very nicely done!!

Donna, you are expressing yourself extremely well through free verse. Mind you, you express yourself extremely well through rhyme as well. You are a poetess with versatility ~ and I enjoy your poetry to the nth degree.

Keep on rambling! It is good for your soul ~ and for your readers!

Loves 'n hugs,
Linda
