you arrived at my shore long ago
i felt you gentle beneath my feet
with dip of toe

sometimes grey sometimes blue
you rolled out your tides

i did not know what to say
i did not know your name

alone with your lines
with the coverings of your moon
the nakedness of foam

i picked you up and measured you

you wet the palm of me
and swallowed me with your
sudden breath

to hold me like a storm

Oh, you speak to me in riddles
and you speak to me in rhymes
My body aches to breathe your breath
Your words keep me alive
~Sarah McLachlan~

This shows what it means to be one with the elements.

You enter the essence and splash it back at us.

Impressive.

=============================

my my my...we are soooo inspired these days.
your writing has this unique abstract, surreal edge to it...
always love the mystic, haunting, loveliness of your images and expressions poetess Maree.

Poetry is emotion put into measure.
The emotion comes by nature ...
but the measure is acquired by art.

What a write gal...
INCREDIBLE....
it lands as gently as the waves on the shore....wonderful..

The greatest beauty on earth, is
found in the hearts of those
who love....
