Words hold an image that more than pyhsical remains Is the pen mightier than the sword Well, die by the sword as you think of words that will delight the world but maybe not your neighbour who doesn't want to be delighted by your words Words do hold an image captured by words that on an old wall reminded of Germany When they gave the billboards for graffiti To allow someone who thought they had talent To demonstrate Words are always graffiti because was means to you means nothing to others We have moved to allowing expression Maybe the words Might display a talent we have never seen to display for us Ideas we have never consider Dave I dont support defacing anything but maybe boards for talent woudl be an idea but one to be abused as we seem to want to, these days. |

Interesting write, Dave. The neighborhood I grew up in (southern California) was wall-to-wall graffiti the last time I visited the old haunt. Some of it is actually quite good artwork, and some stores and building owners have allowed all but the gang symbols and names to remain. But I almost always cringe when I see random spray paintings, and prefer a few tastily done wall murals. Sadly, much of it's like puppy piss on a wall. |

Over here in Perth , they have set up certain places with billboards where they can show their talent , they hoped it would stop the random spray painters ,some of these guys proved they are very talented Hope |

Thanks everyone It just seemed a shame to lose talent because of the actions of a mindless few when it, maybe, just requires a little something to allow the outlet of talent and much against the world's flow. I still believe in a form of National Service as an alternative to prison for minor crimes but the services dont want them and I can understand that. regards Dave |
