She stands now
veiled by this mist
for I breathed from depths
cold
and it met her warm exhale to hide
those cracked knees so long used
to beseech for some lover
unknown to her

Undressing the night
her bare light leads me
along this swell of sand and I
wonder if she would find my touch pleased her
as it moved against her skin
wrapped wet by mine

Come the waves again
and dawn will clear the sky
leaving her exposed

and this long strand will be unchanged
    yet she'll have known
Poseidon's eyes

I like Ed, should have offered huge apologies to the poet.. ( chuckling) so I will now add them as an afterthought..
I could never do justice to your style or way with images.. but consider the humble attempt a compliment, please, not an insult...

You, El Capitan, have the eyes of Poseidon, the soul of a poet and a Venusian heart.

Well heck I would like to think you are wearing a mask of the Yeti   but then you seem a lot like Ice there too.  Can not wait until the masks come off.  Hats off to you as you are out of your own character in this one for sure.  Sheesh maybe you are wearing a dress, and speak Australian even?

Raph... you got it.. though my feeble attempt at imitation is far below the way she crafts so tightly and adds the imagery which stands unique to her style..

thanks for playing all...

My second guess was Dark Angel. I thought that 'dawn' line was a hidden clue.
LOL, but you be sneaky! but now I re-read it, yes, I do see Maree.
