An Evenings Dream

I caught the essence of a seem
And spent the evening in a dream
Less the binds of passions hold
I walked once more the youth of bold

Back within my Eden’s garden
God had granted me a pardon
Opened up the heavens door
And I was home again once more

Once more I was a snow white dove
Once more my all was wrapped in love
And echoes played a melody
In whispers of old fantasy

Where sun and stars showed light and bright
And moon the other side of night
Where Eve wore nothing but the truth
And that is truth I swear for sooth

Did I dream this butterfly?
Or the butterfly dream I

You are so in sync with all around
if the butterfly dreamed you?
She did not let the rest of us down...

What a lovely, fluttery poem! Light, delicate ~ and full of life and whimsy.

Fly like a butterfly forever more!

Or could it be life is but a dream--
and existence wouldn't be, if the other didn't dream...

I like the way you think, as well as write, Right On! *grin*
