Steeping in the solitude before the frost of dawn
Quietness’ anticipation waves across the lawn
The eyes of morning open slowly and let the light lift on
Until the stir of energy pervades in full seen sun
This time has come conveniently a bring together verse
A rhinestone mine of happenings picked clean ago and terse
That call in soft heard harmony from everywhere it seems
Each moment the adventure that propels my soul in dreams
And voices fill the afterglow of shadows small and sheer
They talk in low revisions of the most profound so clear
And I intently follow to the tunes of petal falls
The raising up of questions crease the razed rice paper walls
The small so often bolder in the gentleness of time
Attests the wandered indigence of glassed and roving mime
To lift the curtains hesitant disturbing perfect peace
As slippers on the icy dew of hopes that never cease

superb, superb

you had me hook line and sinker with that opening line, it is just lovely and so true to the morning hours when one allows the steeping

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

morning simmers softly
a hush of gold streams
through ivory linen,
tapping my shoulder
i face the day, almost
sorry for breaking such
perfection.

yes, i do so love that transition time too,
thanks for bringing this

Each moment the adventure that propels my soul in dreams

Yes, very much so, huh?  Where might be the
next milestone dear heart?  Just above the
row of hedges,  around the next bend...

great flow (perfect meter does that )

and you titled it perfectly

as soft as silently falling snow, and layered just as startling

Enjoyed

But then, it's always a treat, Kathy.
