A Friend

Yes Sue,  a friend who is more than just
a friend will stick by you....but that is
not to say that you won't have differences.
Those happen to everyone...  But they will
come back and be there for you.  Sometimes
it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Hi, Sue. I can feel your pain and frustration. I think she owes you an explanation and to give you the chance to clear the air, so to speak. Then again, her behaviour may have nothing to do with you. She may be going through a difficult time and not acting like her usual self. People have been known to take their own frustrations out on others. Whatever the problem may be, I hope that you two will be able to get back on track. If not, then perhaps she was just a friend of the road, not a friend for life.

Truely beautiful poem Sue.

Though I can't help but feel the pain in which it seems you suffer. That's what makes the poet, the very ability to write his/her feelings in words.
