That wild wind
That scatters earthbound fragrances and joy
A ricochet of spellbound dreams deploy
The touch that quivers knees and flutters kilt
Blown through the jungle thoughts my heart has built
In woodsy gleam the home I dream to be
That wild wind
Half crazed the yearn that races heatedly
Along your flanks the golden meadows graze
To spill my banks and free the rivers raise
I’ve traveled all your hearts uncharted seas
By instinct I’ve become familiar breeze
That wild wind
That lifts your wings above the chains of wait
For time bows stretch to capture soulful fate
And plaid, my champion of stubborn born dispose
Aside and to the right your smile the guise of plain repose
That wild wind
To dampen on the lips a melody of soft beset
This harmony a pleasure found without regret
An undiscovered country lingers just beyond my stretch
The might I must explore some more, and ski the valleys fetch
That wild wind
A vortex turned in magnetisms chime
That draws me to the stars each mountain Mars I climb
