Seemingly lost
in the emptiness of mist,
the dawn sun
shines full in each droplet
clinging to rain-drenched petals.

Paul, this is so beautiful, both words and pic.  What lovely colors you paint our world with!

I hesitate to answer your poems.  I think you must get tired of someone who can never say anything but, 'beautiful!' And that's all I ever come up with to say.

As one who loves to look through the lens
with a thought to the penning...
I am deeply appreciative of both your photo
and the writing.

And I would love to capture this picture
for my desktop.

Thank you Dear Dawn ....

The waxing half-moon,
though hidden by passing clouds,
returns to fullness-
beyond what is near or far
shimmering in pond ripples.

Thank you Kacy,

Filling the air,
the song of waking doves;
the sun's warming rays.
