The Point of Know Return

0 posted 2004-05-05 12:32 PM

Jazz sounds cornered
In bullet-proof eyes—
You know what to do.

Trauma was on its way
Drama housed its stay

I knew she would never find me
Peek-a-boo!
Damn it.

And I look into those eyes
And I find my way

Guitars didn’t save me tonight
Surprisingly enough, And I knew
She was down, And I knew I
Was down, And we were down
Together.
Hope we’d get high
Together.

And how do you find your way
To the ground on which I lay?

I knew you could kill me.
Oh wait—
You could kill me.

You know what to do.
You always did.

"The story of life is quicker than the wink of an eye. The story of love is Hello and Goodbye. Until we meet again..." -Jimi Hendrix

"And I look into those eyes
And I find my way"

Loved those lines...and hey, welcome to pip!
