Shadows slowly creeping,
Over tear-stained walls of mind,
Bitter, salty memories,
In serpentine rewind.

My heart bleeds ammonia,
Gone is the red of life,
Drained from the soul of me,
By a lover's knife.

~ Just recalling a difficult time in my life.

Oh, dear Linda, this one took my breath away for the intensity of pain in it.
Sending you much love.
Hope, you remember with detachment, so that it does not hurt anymore.
Love and hugs. Margherita

Earth Angel,
That was before you became an Angel. Well done.

Linda, those hurtful times do come to
mind when least expected sometimes.
Glad to read that it's not now.

you capture pain and sadness and deep hurt very powerfully here - it is too bad we must experience this kind of pain in our lives - Paul

Goodness, I am sorry for any pain you have felt. You sure did write about it so well.

Thank you for sharing such pain. And for letting us know in your repolies that you are happy now. I for one would have worried for you otherwise!
