Wish On A Star Crackling firewood and the smell of pine, cold wind, and frost on my window a’ shine… A bottle of wine, and the quietness of night, all that is missing, is you, to hold tight… Reflections of you, in my mind seem to stay; memories of past times seem to joyfully play… My love for you, so true, and will never unwind, from the first day I saw you, through all of my time... I lift my glass, of dark ruby Bordeaux; yearning to see you, walk in through my door… I wish you happiness, and sweet love and good cheer, but being without you, is drearier each year, so, a toast to you, with a wink of my eye, a smile in my heart, a kiss bound over the sky… To you my love goes, wherever you are, as I peer out my window, to wish on a star… |

ahhh, that incredible star, many a night I have watched and wished in awe...for world peace and that there would be no one in pain or sick anymore. Love to you my friend, and your romantic writes, very hopeful and compassionate. |

This is so beautiful...so sad but so achingly sweet. It touched some heart strings definitly! ~Live and Laugh~ The nice thing about being a pesimest is that your either right, or pleasantly surprised. |

Nice write...I wish on stars too...mostly those young good looking ones that are so popular today....Britney etc....I even dream about them sometimes...wishful thinking I guess.....LOL....just kidding of course..they all dream of me too I'm sure...Freddie/Jason/Dracula..etc. |
