From There

There is a touch of you within me,
beyond the moment of good-bye.
Assorted thoughts making their patterns,
crisscrossing the existence of fantasy,
separating night from day
to mend the emptiness that accrued over time.

Endless, the worry of silence
that kisses the morning,
echoing the infinite of my feel
when the lights go out and my breath
is stilled by the remembrance
of what may never be.

If this...then that, wondering the words,
the music of my heart, waiting the timing
to strip the fear of the after when
there is nowhere else to go...
from there.

it must be the anniversary of remembrance but... like me, you must move to stay alive so I agree... do something different and get out of there.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
