I’ve woven the English titles of Sara Brightman’s cd entitled “encore” into a poem just because it’s “one of those days”.

In the manadrin’s orchid garden
nothing like you’ve ever known
dances to the beat of half a moment
while the sound of a piano
tries to whistle down the wind
and turn the flow of air
into the music of a soul.

There is more to love
but what more do I need
when I’m away from you
and know I must surrender
to the last man in my life?

But think of me sometimes
or maybe take my hand
for one more walk
around the garden
so I can feel inside
the way it has to be
if I ever fall in love again.

Thanks muted.  The writing was fun but the music too emotional.

I know this is very difficult to do...well done, I tried to do this once with some of these songs....but, just didn't have the brain cells...

1. All The Girls That Turn Me On Turn Me Down
2. At The Gas Station of Love, I Got the Self Service Pump

3. Sally Broke My Heart At Walgreens and I Cried all the way to Sears.

4. Get Off The Pool Table Mabel, The Two Dollars is For The Beer.

5. How Can I Get Over You If You Won't Get Out From Under Me?

6. I bought the shoes that walked out on me.

7. I Changed Her Oil, She Changed My Life

8. Balladeer Fell For Her, She Fell For Me, And he fell for LongJohn.

9. I gave her my heart and a diamond and she clubbed me with a spade.

10. I went back to my fourth wife for the third time and gave her a second chance to make a first class fool out of me...

Ya see?...These are way too sad too....

Toerag, Well, it depends how you look at things as to whether they are sad or not.  See above post.

Thanks passing shadows and JL.  The only rain today was that inside my brain hence the little foray into fantasy!
