At one time,
a white canvas,
without form, no colours
a silence of nothing
over the pores of the cloth

Now softly dispersed,
dipped into brightness
a blue sky
spread in shades
different at each touch

Scattered in air
some dark green
and contrasted light
sprinkling nature
in transparent breeze

Unfolding warmth
in tender touch
the colour of flesh
in two bodies, two souls
united as one

Seedling of passion
granting the light
known only to hearts
carefully embraced
by God’s paintbrush

Whispering in verse
of present and future
in lyrics of love
eternally blessing
you and me.

you have painted the canvass of this word picture well...it was like looking over the shoulder of the painter as the painting took form...well done

Hello Tais

This is the first poem of yours I have read and I enjoyed it so very much.  Your words painted such a beautiful picture.
