A Wondrous Dream

I had a wondrous dream last night
Like magic, wishes came true
It brought such joy into my heart
I must tell you how I flew!

I was standing outside
It was summertime
Barefoot in the dew
Covered in a white lawn gown
It billowed when the wind blew

Staring at the constellations
Connecting all the dots
I wished upon the brightest one
I found the wishing jackpot

In awe, the star fell from the sky
A lovely vision to behold
With grace it knelt in front of me
Then began to unfold

The transformation was surreal
A carriage it did form
Cautiously I touched the door
I knew then it was real

Once inside, away we flew
Soaring thru the skies
Every wish that came to mind
The carriage always knew

Snowcapped mountains
A lovely view
So pale in the moonlight
Mass statutes of delight

We skimmed across the oceans
Like rocks skipped in a pond
Leaning, we tipped sideways
My fingers caught the waves

I flew to all the places
I’ve always longed to go
Way to many, to share with you
Secrets only for me to know

Time flew by, I think it did
I was left with but one wish
So we landed on another star
And this is what I did

I leaped right from the carriage
Laughing & jumping up and down
The star began to twinkle
Then homeward I was bound

Remember if you’re out one night
And you see a twinkling star
Someone might have got their wish
They see you from afar….

Welcome to Passions, Kie!

Lovely entrance you have made.

Did you know that on an ordinary night, not too cloudy, not too bright, you can see at least 40 "falling" stars?  Just spreading a little trivia around the galaxy!

Again, welcome!
