Candyshoppe Fling

So how's life, dear caramel?
Your eyes and hair of brown
Your gingerbread arms, they held me once
My trembling fingers in your hands.

Where's your sugar smile?
Those gumberry lips--don't hide them.
Sweet jelly scent I could smell from the Nile
And your voice as round as a pretzel.

I really liked the last line too!  Your whole poem was warm and enjoyable to read.
    Happy writing to you.
