desert flower looking for rain

thief

stolen by the salt
our shapes
once naked and bold
with grains of promise
embedded into artist ink

now washed off in vanilla
scented showers
and tomorrow
tomorrow

the rains will come and the foam
will only hint
of the shapes and secrets
of kisses spent

I love how you hint at things that only those who know you will understand.

Loved this.
