Chameleon

The chameleon of my mind
Leaves no shadows behind
It filters in osmotic trails
Like the winds of travail

Brewing, steeping weightless mass
To catch the gullible admass
To filter in the soft of green
And subliminal in-between

It drifts like echoes advertise
Into the striates of unwise
Sooths the hungers of the lust
With the anti bodies of trust

It agitates a false imprint
Upon the optics of the squint
And passes by with no imply
With but the slightest of a sigh

It is the wink that makes a link
And bridges o’er the things we think.

Cool, Seymour... I thought...

"To filter in the soft of green
And subliminal in-between"

that was my favorite part and your ending reminding me of Dr. Seuss, I guess because I just read the poem about him, and finally, since I have an eye appointment today, your one segment reminded me of that too.

Morning Sy!
What a wonderful piece you have woven for us today.

And subliminal in-between

Stunning way to describe this, Sy.

Morning huggums, Mr. T. ~

May I borrow your mind's chameleon sometime?

I will lend you my halo in return! ~ Mind you, it keeps slipping off to the side!

Angel kisses,
EA

or maybe they are
~
how I enjoyed this
reading your rhyme and your wit
but I always do

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Im smiling at your clever cool rhymes Sy-guy,
ya got some real doozies in this gem.

And as for that closing couplet--
If its winkies you need...you know Im sending enough to link the muddy Miss to your sandy shores.

Tink Winks on the way ...

some Randy smooches too.
