Joseph Loves Mary

Mary the maiden, young and poor
transfixed by specter at her door;
with tears when told of coming child,
accepts that she will be reviled.

Approaches her beloved betrothed
in fear she will be spurned and loathed.
He hears with love and throws no stone.
She need not raise this Child alone.

Lost in the greater story told,
this tale of love so true and bold.
A faith so strong, a love so true,
comes seldom and it comes to few.

Mary was twice blest in her fate;
a Holy Child and steadfast mate.

Mary was such a special person. I hope that I have the kind of love she and Joseph had, and that I can be more like her.

(smiles) Oh Joyce, Mary is such a special mother and person that I believe so many wish they could love like and I believe God really destined them to be together to make Our Son possible but also because they were meant for each other! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, they are the holy couple forever, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joyce, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Joyce, I've always liked the story of Mary and Joseph.
He was a good mate for her. God makes no mistakes, does He?
Hugs,
Ethel
