I hope this turns out right.  It is called a concrete because it takes on the shape of the theme of the poem.  Here goes...

           Lock-
           Smith,
           O,
           Lock-
           Smith,
           O,
           O,
           O,
           Do
           Lend
           Me
           A
           Key
           To
      Open my heart
     To love tenderly,
    Openly,      fully,
   Lock           smith,oh
   Lock           smith, I
   Humbly        do plead
     Answer     my need
        For    love’s
          O n l y
            Key

Really sweet...the style supported the gentle simplicity of the write very well.
Really enjoyed.

Kind of like a poetry mechanic... Very ingenious! Grover.

1slick_lady, thanks…just trying out new styles (for me), but it didn’t turn out just like I had it typed…it was a little off

muted, thank you…found this style on a cool site http://members.optushome.com.au/kazoom/poetry/concrete.html

KristieSue, thank you for taking the time to read and comment

Enchantress, I am glad you liked it…perhaps you could do one of those challenges (I see them in response, but have no idea where they come from)

ThisDiamond, thank you…it seems once I started on it…it just turned out that way

Nightshade, thank you…it was fun to write

Pat, always glad to help make you smile

Grover, "poetry mechanic"?  I like that...perhaps that explains how I keep getting font ink on my hands

This is just sooooo neat, steavenr...sorry...but, I sure hope you keep staying bored so you can keep looking for new styles of poetry to write!  This is very entertaining and enlightening. Thank you!
