Tinted wings and fairy dust, hell bent hearts and loving trust. The walls around you closing in, you're growing closer to the end. Your head says no, your heart screams yes, your life becomes another mess. You miss the one that used to say, "I'll be here with you, every day" You look around and no one's there, you're left alone in the dark and scared. People come and people go, but none of the people ever know. You're slipping away and losing grip your life flashing like a movie clip. Your heart is blind and eyes cant see There's nothing left for you to be. Love has left you for something else and all you can do is blame yourself. Why aren't you good enough and why cant they care? Why cant your life, for once, just be fair? Why must they treat you as if you dont matter? The glass of your heart is on the ground shattered. They leave you and hate you, but they'll never know what it's like to watch love just turn and go. |

Wow, I can totally relate to this poem! I really liked the couplet form also . . . Life is a moderately good play w/ a badly written thrid act. - Unknown |
