You are the fist hitting the mirror
That perfect cliched moment of anguish
When the pieces of you fall to the floor
But it is only a reflection
You tell yourself
For you cannot believe
You could ever be quite so broken
What remains of the glass
Leaves only the image
Of half a person
With edges too sharp to touch
Upon looking down you find
A thousand echoed eyes
Looking back up in dismay
But it is only a reflection
You tell yourself
For you cannot believe
You could ever be quite so broken

very very good. it's surprising that no one has commented. maybe you have to write something super simple to get comments, who knows? anyway, this was very well written. I enjoyed it greatly.
