There comes a time
to remember how you've shone
It is a time when you disembark
and venture out on your own

To remember the days
that you sailed through a class
the security of knowing
that you were going to pass

Lifelong friends are made during then
They are with you throught the years
The though of leaving them
Makes me afraid and also shead a tear

My daily companions
are leaving me alone
I come to realize
I need to make it on my own

My friends do stay
In my heart is where they lie
To me it doesn't matter......
I don't care where they reside

New friends are on their way
For this I am sure
Many may be wrong choices
People who come with well thought out lures

Friends are my world
and will be when I leave
We knew it would happen
We just need a reprieve

When all is said and done
and we all go our seperate ways
I'll always look back
On our high school days

~*To be a star, you must shine your own light, follow your own path and don't worry about the darkness for that is when stars shine oh so bright !~
