Fire and Ice

My heart is a fire
That burns in this forest of me.
Alone and undisturbed, it is contained.
Your heart is frozen
As cold as ice.
Cool and calm it remains.
You came into my life
And your Arctic winds blew
But you didn’t snuff my burning
My fire just grew.
Burning hotter and faster
In inner natural disaster.
I am consumed
And I want to make you see
That only your frozen heart
Can stop my burning.
My fire you’ll quench
And your frozen heart I’ll warm.
Otherwise, my heart will burn
Until my forest is gone.

Those who live by the sword, get shot by those who don't.

I like this write,,,holds much truth,,,,,the hard part,,,is getting those two extremes together, without one overcoming the other into nothingness,,,,
