The place just beyond my eyes, where my spirit flies.

The pain of a broken heart,
Like falling into the Iron Maiden.
Trapped inside her heart,
You die a little.
Only to wake up the next morning,
To find that you are the only one,
Not in LOVE.
Attempting to mend,
She comes close and pretends it’s all a dream,
Only to slam the Maiden once more.
Closing you in a darkness,
Where you fight for your self worth,.
Following her enigma to the ends of your world,
While writing her love notes in study hall,
When she goes to another school.
I have found a pain worse,
Than watching the one you love,
Love someone else.

Confessing to the one you love,
Only for her to laugh in your face.
