This is the most personal poem that I've probably ever written. This is my weakest and hardest moment and so here I will share it with you, to anonymous anyone... I finally said the things that needed saying I was never the one How can a scar be a sign of affection? I infected your world, to try to make this Let the cut run until it couldn’t bleed anymore Tried to let it slip and let it fade But you cannot quit until you lose the game The things that needed saying “And so they have been said…” I never meant to… “Lets go get holes together” Why did that mean so much? And now there’s ink being pressed I guess you never wanted… Why did this mean so much? She always said they never loved her How could they not? She was the most real, so even I could feel Never understanding all the things I was demanding Every little pressure, I had to measure This wasn’t fair on either When you fall this way The pavement cracks and every bone will break But your body wont completely break Until you can finally let it I said my words and almost ruined… She is my best friend All she'll ever be She made me feel again This just went too far And I’m so, so very sorry I hope you find your place I hope he’ll make you happy Hopefully at least one of us comes out alive tonight I gave up and my will atrophied My everything almost damned me into nothing I carved my own coffin Just from the way that I felt And the way that you smelt The final nail was the truth I may never recover, from this But you should never take the blame The words that needed saying Were the hardest things to say… |

It took a very long time for me to get to the point where I could tell her. I hope through all of this pain something good may come. Thank you for your response. |

You are very welcome Hatter. Pain is something that just shouldn't have to be between 2 people, but I guess life is just that way. I wish I had your hat so I could tip it to you. At least you bothered to say something. I know of what you speak, and the person I am dealing with has never bothered. I have respect for a person that does! I don't for the ones that don't bother. They are either too good to speak to you, or they don't have the time of day. There's a way for people to say something if they don't want to be hurtful, and spare their feelings, but totally ignoring them isn't it.
