Mirror Mirror on the Wall

She loves me I know this
She says this to me and
Her friends tell me this
But she will not talk

Our love is a mirror
One which I can touch
But will not touch me back
She is cold like ice

It happened before we met
Abuse is an ugly thing
And it scars even when
You think it has not

We have grown she stuck
With me when I almost died
Stood by my bed
I could see her cry

But even with morphine
Dripping in my arm
The world growing dreamy
She would not talkā€¦

So I stood in front of
My mirror, today I took
My first step in 5 months
And wondered is it worth it

To stay there, I do not know
I know she loves me, and I
Love her too but can you
Really love something so ethereal.

That is a very interesting reply and the more I look at it the more I understand of it. Tell me is it your wit or perhaps there is a story behind this riddle? Either way im interested.
